Tom Parke

Tom Parke was raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He went on to attend Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a B.A. in Labor and Industrial Relations with concentrations in Management and Marketing.  In 2001, Tom was recruited to join one of Washington, DC’s top mortgage and real estate brokerage firms.  Shortly thereafter, Tom joined that firm as their Business Development Manager and began his career in mortgage real estate finance. 

In this role, Tom quickly became the #1 producing loan originator on one of the “top producing” loan origination teams in the Washington, DC Metro area for 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004.  The team he managed was ranked as the 13th largest originator of home loans in the DC Metro area by the Washington Business Journal in 2003.  After helping this mortgage company to have its three most profitable years since the company’s founding in 1995, Tom and his [then] fiancée, Amy, decided that it was time to pursue their longtime desire to move out to the West Coast.  In January 2005, Tom and Amy arrived in Northern California and they have been thrilled with this move ever since.  

Tom was recognized as the highest producing “rookie” loan officer for the First Horizon Home Loans - Walnut Creek, CA branch in 2005.  He then accepted a promotion to Washington Mutual Bank from 2007 – 2008, working in their Custom Construction Lending department.  In 2008, Tom moved to MetLife Home Loans, Walnut Creek, CA, where he earned President’s Club Honors in 2009, 2010 and 2011, ranking him in the Top 5% of all MetLife loan officers nationwide and funding over $125 million during that three-year span.    

Tom has now teamed up with Mason-McDuffie Mortgage Corporation,where he is currently the Sales Manager and a Senior Mortgage Consultant.  Tom’s niche and business focus is in the private client arena of residential lending.

Tom currently splits his time between his office in Oakland and his home in San Francisco with his wife, Amy.    

With over eleven years in the financial services industry and after having closed the home loans for over 1,000 families, he offers a wealth of experience and knowledge in the home financing process.
