Doug Beaty

Doug Beaty joined Mason-McDuffie in 2011 to develop its retail branch network across the country.

Mr. Beaty will be working closely with Chuck Jackson, the senior vice president of production, to expand the company nationally. Like most of the Mason-McDuffie senior management team, they have known each other for 30 years.

Previously, Mr. Beaty directed national sales for Triad Guaranty Insurance Corp. for nearly 13 years. Triad was a provider of mortgage insurance for homebuyers who made down payments of less than 20 percent. He has worked in the mortgage insurance business for most of his career.

Mr. Beaty is a past president of the Austin Mortgage Bankers and a past board member of the Texas Mortgage Bankers.

He studied finance at West Texas A&M University.

Mr. Beaty is married with two grown children and four grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, golf and fishing.
