Jim Macke joined Mason-McDuffie Mortgage in 2011 as Senior Vice President of Production. Mr. Macke began his banking career as a Loan Officer in 1988. He brings with him diverse experience in the mortgage business.

A native Californian, he most recently managed mortgage production in three states for BB&T, a North Carolina-based bank. His team closed loans valued at more than $1 billion in both 2008 and 2009 and received the top customer satisfaction score in 2009 and 2010. His team played a key role in earning the prestigious J.D. Power award for mortgage customer service.

Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Wells Fargo Mortgage, directing loan production in North and South Carolina. Before joining Wells Fargo, he was a Vice-President and ran the KBHome Mortgage Southern California division. In both leadership roles, his team was recognized as a top performer in profitability and customer retention.

In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family and enjoys water skiing, reading and traveling,

Mr. Macke is married and has two children.
